Type of project : Energy Efficiency & Environmental Upgrade of a mansion of the Fifties
Missions : Assistance to Project Ownership – Quantity Surveying – Engineering Design & Planning – Energy Design – Project Management partially
The client’s requirement was an energy efficiency and environmental upgrade of a mansion built in the Fifties. Therefore, in addition to a high level of insulation of the building envelope, you will find there materials such as wood wool (with different thicknesses & densities depending on the use and the desired thermal phase shift) and cellulose wadding.
In addition, only “vintage” compatible materials are used, primarily wood and lime. Concrete and zellige tiles are part of the trimming, rendering the vintage character combined with the modernity of perfectly integrated technical equipment and high-end fittings.
This energy efficiency upgrade has been integrated to a deco project designed by a Parisian artist.
The project specifications and production plans have been developed based on these requirements.
